Hyde Park

The London Kensington Forum is an excellent choice of hotel accommodation for visitors wishing to visit London’s Hyde Park. 

Dubbed ‘London’s personal space’, Hyde Park offers visitors year-round activities and the opportunity to escape the noise and traffic of central London, and stands as one of London’s largest green spaces. 

The park is divided in two by the Serpentine, a lake where visitors can go boating. On its banks are two restaurants and the Serpentine Gallery as well as the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fountain, an oval stone ring fountain opened on July 6th 2004.

2012 will see the park host an array of events, including the Barclay’s Wireless! Festival, which is to be headlined by Rihanna in July, and the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony concert later that month. Free Yoga sessions are available during the summer and the park is a great place for kids to enjoy their space away from the noise and London traffic. 

It’s open all year round from 5am until midnight and during the festive season Hyde Park hosts its own Winter Wonderland, with a Christmas market, an ice rink, circus and giant Ferris wheel.
